At 14:00 on the afternoon of September 22, Hangzhou Metro Line 19 (namely Hangzhou Airport Rapid Transit Line) officially went for trial operation. The Line connects multiple transportation hubs and tourism and entrepreneurship bases, crosses the Qiantang River, and traverses downtown Hangzhou, playing an important role in creating a 1-hour traffic circle in urban Hangzhou and strengthening the rapid connection between the east and west wings and the downtown.

Line 19, the second line in Hangzhou that CASCO had a part, has adopted CASCO's mature CBTC signaling system solution same as that of Line 8 Phase I which went into operation in 2021. Besides, CASCO has also tailored the Super Brain for Line 19 based on its characteristics to fully guarantee the safe operation of trains and help improve the efficiency of metro operation.

Line 19 starts at Tiaoxi Station and ends at Jingjiang Station, connecting three hubs, namely Hangzhou West Railway Station, Hangzhou East Railway Station and Xiaoshan International Airport. It is 59.14km long with 15 stations. After the operation, the line interchanges with Line 1, Line 3, Line 5, Line 6, Line 7 and Line 9, and later more lines. As the latest “king of interchanges” in Hangzhou Metro, it will provide great convenience for local people's daily travel.
Taking the line to cross the central axis of Hangzhou, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Qiantang River outside the window along the way. It takes 50 minutes throughout Line 19, which crosses the Qiantang River via the New Pengbu Bridge, while Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway and Hangzhou-Ningbo High-speed Railway which were also constructed by CASCO cross the river at the adjacent Pengbu High-speed Railway Bridge. With CASCO's signaling system, the two rail transit lines cross the Qiantang River, complement each other, and have witnessed CASCO's participation in the development of China's rail transit.
