On October 12, CASCO held a digital transformation promotion meeting, guided by the thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the important expositions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on developing new quality productive forces. The meeting aimed to implement the relevant requirements of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council on advancing the digital transformation of state-owned enterprises, carry out the digital transformation action plan of CRSC, accelerate the digital transformation of products and businesses, empower the company to focus on its core businesses, broaden its main tracks, and explore new tracks, and promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the rail transit industry. Wang Yin, Party Secretary and Chairman of CASCO, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, while Zhang Yi, President of CASCO, presided over the meeting.

In his speech, Wang Yin pointed out that in the process of advancing digital transformation, digital technology is the foundation, digital management and control is the key, business digitization is the support, and digital business is the goal. The leaders of each team in the company should fully recognize the urgency and necessity of digital transformation, establish the concept and awareness of digital transformation, and continuously enhance the company's overall competitive advantage through in-depth thinking and pragmatic actions. We should adhere to hierarchical classification, streamline work processes, enhance collaboration, reduce redundancy, and promote mutual exchanges and learning among teams. We should make good use of digital and intelligent technologies and means to empower daily operation and management, promote the intelligent iteration and upgrading of products. We should accelerate the promotion and application of intelligent products and businesses, providing greater value to clients by improving efficiency and reducing costs.

The meeting released the "CASCO Digital Transformation Action Plan (2024-2025)", which explained the arrangements and deployments for the company's digital transformation from four aspects: overall objectives, overall framework, key tasks, and supporting measures. The plan clarified the "CASCO Digital Transformation Action Plan Special Task List (2024-2025)", aiming to promote the company's digital transformation to a higher quality, broader scope, and deeper level through comprehensive improvement, integration, and mutual promotion in four aspects: business digitization, digital business, digital technology, and digital management and control. The goal is to build a fully connected and intelligent CASCO and empower the intelligent development of the rail transit industry.

The heads of the Railway Product Center, Urban Rail Product Center, Transportation Dispatching Product Center, Intelligent Product Center, Innovation Research Institute, Industrial Innovation Incubation Center, and Process Reform and Digitization Department reported on their departments’ digital transformation action plans.

The meeting was held in both on-site and video conference. Department managers and above participated in the meeting.
