On September 10, Xu Zezhou, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group, took a field trip to CASCO and was accompanied by CASCO Interim Party Committee Secretary, Vice Chairman and President Yang Haidong.

He joyfully visited the Shanghai Engineering Research Center of Driverless Train Control of Urban Guided Transport led and constructed by the company, experienced the typical application and system linkage of CASCO's fully automatic driverless systems in realistic scenarios, and then carefully listened to the detailed report of the company.

He spoke highly of the achievements and contributions CASCO has made to Shanghai these years. He said that CASCO is an outstanding enterprise representative of Shanghai and Jing'an District, and the purpose of his trip was to explore the impact of COVID-19 on the company and the related development demands of the company.

Yang Haidong expressed his gratitude to Xu Zezhou and said that despite challenges and pressure of sustainable development and technology leadership it may face, CASCO would actively respond to the "Demonstrative Actions on Reforms of Technology-Based Enterprises" launched by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council and take it as an opportunity to seek a breakthrough and align itself with the world-class enterprises. At present, CASCO hopes to get more policy support in technology innovation development and talent training.

Xu Zezhou said that CASCO is highly aligned with the overall direction of the industry and the Sci-Tech Innovation Center construction in Shanghai. Shanghai Municipal People's Congress will continuously strengthen communication with enterprises, and urge the municipal government and district government to provide stronger support for the long-term sustainable development of enterprises.
