On February 3, Phase II of Zhuhai-Zhuhai Airport Intercity Railway officially went into operation, becoming the first railway to be opened in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in 2024. At this point, the Zhuhai-Zhuhai Airport Intercity Railway, in which CASCO participates in its construction, has been fully commissioned.

Phase I of Zhuhai-Zhuhai Airport Intercity Railway, starting from Zhuhai Railway Station in the east and ending at Changlong Railway Station in the west, went into operation in August 2020, while Phase II of the project starts from Changlong Railway Station in the east, passes through Jingwan Railway Station, Hezhounan Railway Station, Sanzaodong Railway Station, and goes west to Zhuhai Airport Railway Station. After the entire line is opened, the fastest trip from Zhuhai Railway Station to Zhuhai Airport Railway Station will take 36 minutes, and the whole journey will take about 54 minutes if the train stops at every station.

CASCO provided FZk-CTC 3.0 centralized traffic control system, iLOCK computer interlocking system, and CSS communication control server for Phase II of Zhuhai-Zhuhai Airport Intercity Railway. Since the project started in September 2023, CASCO has cooperated with relevant units to overcome difficulties, actively promoted various tasks, scientifically coordinated the progress, and successfully completed various tasks such as installation and commissioning, static acceptance, joint commissioning, and renovation of Hengqin Railway Station of Phase I of Zhuhai-Zhuhai Airport Intercity Railway, making positive contributions to the opening of the project with high quality.

As an important part of the Pearl River Delta rail transit network and an important passenger transport channel connecting the Pearl River Delta and Macau, the Zhuhai-Zhuhai Airport Intercity Railway is of great significance in promoting the integrated development of the cities of the Pearl River Delta and Macao, and accelerating the construction of the rail transit network and the synergistic development of the infrastructure in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
