The RT FORUM 2025, as well as the 9th China Smart Rail Transit Conference, was held in Guangzhou from April 11 to 12, with the theme "New Start, Quality-Oriented Journey". CASCO was invited to participate in the event, attending two major thematic forums to discuss and exchange ideas with industry experts. In the closing year of the 14th Five-Year Plan, CASCO summarized past achievements in the development of the rail transit industry and looked forward to new trends in the industry's future.
"Customized Solutions and Services": Creating Best Practices in Revamping
At the Autonomous and Integrated Operation Forum, Lv Xinjun, Chief Engineer of CASCO's Urban Rail Product Center, delivered a speech titled "Best Practices in Signal System Revamping." He shared CASCO's technical solutions and successful cases for the revamping of existing metro lines. Since completing the first metro revamping project in China, the Beijing Metro Line 2, in 2008, CASCO has been exploring and innovating, participating in the revamping of 11 lines covering over 300 kilometers over the past decade. Following the customized strategy, CASCO has developed a series of revamping solutions represented by disturbance-free renovation, upgrade and extension, and inclusive renovation, providing reproducible and promotable reference models for the entire industry.
In his speech, Lv Xinjun mentioned that the revamping accelerated the pace of industrial transformation and upgrading, providing new opportunities for CASCO to achieve deeper technological breakthroughs. "Through TRANAVI Qiji TACS, as well as new technologies such as Xi digital urban rail transit solution based on intelligent operation control and maintenance, integrated platform screen door, and train autonomous recognition, CASCO continuously transforms innovative achievements into the internal driving force for high-quality development in the industry."
Low-Altitude Spread Wings: Promising Future for Low-Altitude Intelligent Control System
At the Sustainable Development and Low-Altitude Economy Forum, Zhang Lipeng, General Manager of CASCO's Industrial Innovation Incubation Center, delivered a speech titled "Low-Altitude Intelligent Control System and Its Application in Rail Transit Inspection". He compared the low-altitude intelligent control system to the "brain" of low-altitude operation, explaining its important role in the development of the low-altitude economy. CASCO was the first in the industry to develop a low-altitude intelligent control system, which will provide key support for the development of the low-altitude economy with its functional advantages of "visibility, controllability, flexible dispatching, and safety and efficiency". The system has completed its first flight verification in Nanjing, achieved its first application in Nan'an, Fujian, and is promoting the construction of "low-altitude comprehensive application scenarios" in the central urban areas of Shanghai Shibei High-tech Park.
In addition, Zhang Lipeng also introduced the key technologies of CASCO's low-altitude intelligent inspection system and its applications in the railway in Huaxian County and the protection zones of Wuxi Metro, etc., providing valuable experience for exploring more application scenarios of "low-altitude + rail".
