At 8:50 on September 26 2015, Ningbo Line 2 officially went on passenger-carrying operation with CASCO’s mature and reliable Urbalis 888 CBTC signaling system. This is another metro line that CASCO contributes to since Ningbo Line 1, guiding Ningbo into the age of metro line network.

As a key line from southwest to northeast in the rail transit network, Ningbo Line 2 runs from Lishe International Airport to Qingshuipu. It is not only the first airport line, but also connects Lishe Airport, Passenger Transportation Center and Ningbo Railway Station, making people’s transport more convenient. Line 2 is 28.35km and has 22 stations, 2 depots and 1 control center.

Ningbo Line 2 was commissioned three months earlier than the contracted time. Though the schedule suddenly became tight, CASCO’s Ningbo team faced the challenge and realized full-function opening of Line 2, fulfilling the promise to the client successfully.
