Recently, the signaling system (including integrated monitoring system) of Beijing Metro Line 6 undertaken by CASCO was successfully accepted after two years of operation. This project has realized the successful application of traffic control integrated automation system (TIAS) in rail transit, which went quite well during over two years of operation.

TIAS is the traffic control integrated automation system customized for Beijing Line 6 by CASCO, which integrates signaling system with power monitoring system, building automation system, closed circuit television and other related systems to better realize the connection, information sharing and coordination between these systems.

TIAS system of Beijing Line 6 (Phase I) began official operation on December 28^th 2012 and achieved its full function application under the control of CBTC. Since its operation, the mean time between failures reaches 2000016 hours and the punctuality rate hits 99.88%, way above the stipulated 50000 hours and 99.6% respectively, which has effectively improved the operating efficiency and management, as well as the service quality. 

With the successful acceptance of TIAS on Beijing Line 6, it has been paid more and more attention by the metro constructor and operator and is expected to become a new trend in the integrated automation development in the future. CASCO will also continuously improve the system according to its application on Beijing Line 6 and make efforts to provide more safe, stable and efficient traveling for the public.
