On December 2^nd 2015, State Intellectual Property Office issued the award decision of the 17^th Chinese Outstanding Patents. CASCO’s patent of Dynamic Tracking of Train Position by Signaling System invented by Qian Jiang and Yan Honghui (Invention Patent No.: ZL200810200487.2), was honored the 17^th Chinese Outstanding Patent Award. It is the first time that CASCO won the honor.

Established in 1989, Chinese Outstanding Patent Award is the only award that was granted to the invention patent by national government. The award not only stresses patent technology and innovation, but also focuses on its application in the market, protection and management. To participate in the selection, the patents should not only have recommendation from local Intellectual Property Office, State Council or academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences/ Engineering, but also face strict requirement for the application material. Chinese Outstanding Patent Award is the top prize conferred jointly by government department and world intellectual property organization, which is quite influential in the world.
