From October 19 to 20, the 2nd China Digital Transportation Innovation and Development Conference hosted by China Communications and Transportation Association, was held grandly in Chengdu. CASCO was invited to attend and delivered excellent speeches at two seminars, sharing technical solutions and practical achievements with industry peers to promote the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of transportation infrastructure.
At the seminar on the application of digital transformation in rail transit in the era of digital intelligence, Wei Shengxin, Manager of the Solution Department at CASCO's Intelligent Product Center, introduced CASCO's Intelligent Maintenance Platform through his keynote speech titled "Exploration and Practice of Digital Intelligence in Rail Transit Operation and Maintenance". Based on the digital foundation of rail transit, the platform leverages technologies such as data governance, AI and health prediction to enable intelligent upgrades of business processes such as routine maintenance, emergency repair, and operation and maintenance decision-making. Combined with specific cases, Wei Shengxin further shared the successful applications of the intelligent maintenance platform in Shanghai Metro and Wuhan Railway Bureau, vividly demonstrating CASCO's active exploration in promoting changes to the operation and maintenance mode in the rail transit industry.
At the seminar on the application of new intelligent and digital technologies in heavy-haul railway, Zhang Cheng, Chief Engineer of CASCO's Railway Product Center, delivered a keynote speech titled "Practices and Explorations of Intelligent Train Control System for Freight Railway." Addressing the challenges of enhancing the capacity and efficiency of freight railways, he elaborated on CASCO's technical solution: Beidou Positioning Based Train Autonomous Control System (TACN). This system adopts multi-source integrated train positioning based on Beidou satellite navigation, autonomous train integrity checks that integrate wind pressure, position, and speed information, electronic maps, and IP-based train-ground wireless communication. It reduces the need for trackside signaling equipment and lowers maintenance difficulty and workload. Currently, the system has been launched on Pingmei Railway and successfully promoted to the railway from the Port of Morebaya to Simandou in Guinea. With the development of new functions such as in-station moving block and virtual marshalling, its future application prospects will be broader.
During the event, CASCO's "Empowering Seamless Operation of Rail Transit with Network Digital Maintenance System" was recognized as the "Typical Case of Digital Transformation in the Transportation Industry", and was included in the list of 24 recommended typical cases selected by the conference. This honor confirms CASCO's leading position in the field of rail transit digital transformation and inspires CASCO to continue innovating, playing a demonstrative and leading role, and contributing to promoting high-quality development in transportation.
