Since the beginning of 2025, Shenzhen Metro Line 3 has been in operation with a brand-new signaling system. It not only successfully completed the first Spring Festival travel rush test after the renovation and upgrade, but also set a new daily passenger flow record of 1.099 million on the first day of the new year, radiating new vitality and energy.
This 52-kilometer-long urban artery connects 38 stations and is equipped with 98 trains. The signal system renovation work is enormous and complex, which requires the completion of both the existing line renovation and the new Phase IV construction within just over a year. Faced with this extreme challenge, CASCO adopted an innovative "renovate-while-extending" model, and successfully completed the delivery task with high quality through scientific planning and efficient execution, helping Shenzhen Metro Line 3 achieve a splendid transformation.
After the new system was applied, the maximum operating speed of Shenzhen Metro Line 3 reached to 100 km/h, the system capacity increased to 33 pairs of trains per hour, and the minimum headway was shortened to 90 seconds. The stability and reliability of the system were significantly enhanced, laying a solid foundation for capacity improvement. With its efficient and professional signal renovation capabilities, CASCO has once again set a new benchmark in the field of urban rail transit renovation.
