On May 21, CASCO and China Harbour Engineering Company formally signed the consultancy contract for the unattended operation scenario and system integration of Bogotá Metro Line 1. It is CASCO’s first overseas GoA4 rail transit technology consultancy project, which further demonstrates its global service capabilities in the rail transit sector.

Bogotá Metro Line 1, the first urban rail transit line in Colombia's capital, spans 23.96 kilometers with 16 stations.

The project adopts GoA4 fully automatic driverless technology. CASCO will provide consultancy services for the line's fully automatic operation scenarios and system integration, by leveraging its extensive experience in the construction and maintenance of fully automatic operation systems. It will help ensure the smooth implementation of the project and achieve the goals of enhanced safety, improved economy and greater efficiency.

As the earliest technology enterprise engaged in fully automatic driverless system in China, CASCO has participated in the construction of 26 UTO lines over the past decade, securing the top market share domestically. Furthermore, CASCO pioneered the management model where the signaling system integrator leads the automation consistency coordination. It has applied this approach to 20 lines nationwide, earning widespread acclaim in the industry.
