On February 27th, the ceremony for awarding the second batch of Shanghai Innovative Enterprise Headquarters was held in Shanghai, where Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Shanghai, presented awards to 49 innovative enterprise headquarters. CASCO, as a representative enterprise in the strategic emerging field, was honored to be selected and was the only high-end intelligent equipment enterprise in the rail transit sector among all. Wang Yin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CASCO, received the award on site.
For nearly four decades, CASCO, rooted in Shanghai, has been serving the whole country, accelerating its global layout, and continuously enhancing the development, which demonstrates strong leadership, innovation, and growth potential. The company focuses on research in rail transit intelligent control technologies and has participated in the construction of 11 metro lines and 4 suburban railway lines in Shanghai, always aligning with the city's development. CASCO was the first in the world to achieve the breakthrough of 3,000 kilometers of CBTC in operation, and its domestic market share in CBTC lines ranks first in the industry, with one out of every three lines choosing CASCO's signaling system. Its dispatching and command system boasts the highest market share nationwide, safeguarding China's railway transportation. In the international market, CASCO's products and services are exported to more than 20 countries and regions, from Asia, Africa, and Latin America to Oceania, making CASCO's solutions a prominent name card for China's high-end technical equipment in the global arena.
CASCO's steady business development stems from its precise grasp of market demand and relentless pursuit of technological innovation. Nurtured in Shanghai's vibrant innovative environment and with the support of national and local leaders, CASCO continuously promotes the deep integration of new technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things with the rail transit industry. It has developed innovative products represented by TRANAVI Qiji TACS, new-type train control systems, multi-network integrated suburban system, and train autonomous recognition system, adhering to the principle of driving the development of high-end industries with new technologies and empowering the industry's transformation and upgrade.
In recent years, leveraging its profound technological accumulation in the rail transit sector, CASCO has seized the opportunity of the emerging low-altitude economy, and pioneered in extending intelligent rail transit control technologies to the sky, addressing the industry's pain point of "uncontrollable management". It has successfully deployed ID-Space system in multiple places. In collaboration with Shibei High-tech Park, CASCO has established a low-altitude flight demonstration zone in Jing'an District, building a comprehensive management and control platform that has enabled the rapid implementation of low-altitude inspection and low-altitude logistics, contributing to the large-scale development of the local low-altitude economy.
This award is a high recognition of CASCO's industry leadership and an affirmation and encouragement for CASCO's contribution to Shanghai's development of innovative economy and the construction of Sci-tech hub. With the accelerated construction of an integrated three-dimensional transportation network combining ground and air, CASCO will continue to focus on the main track of rail transit, actively explore new avenues in the low-altitude economy, rely on technological innovation, vigorously develop new quality productivity, and contribute to opening a new chapter in Shanghai's and China's transportation development.
