Recently, the "Research on Key Technologies for Integrated Intelligent Transportation Management Control and Services" (Project No.: 2024YFB4303204), led by CASCO, was successfully approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology as the key special project of "Transportation Vehicles and Intelligent Transportation Technology". Leveraging CASCO’s decades of expertise in intelligent operation and control, this research will significantly advance the development of more efficient, green, and cost-effective smart logistics and tube rail transport systems.

Addressing current challenges of low efficiency and high costs in cross-modal and full-chain logistics operation, the program will focus on the process of "collection-loading-transportation-unloading-distribution" to build an integrated, full-process smart logistics service platform. By establishing a system featuring integrated transportation services, coordinated operation links, automated cargo transfer, intelligent line network operation, and intelligent construction and maintenance, CASCO will leverage its mature rail transit control technology and align with smart logistics demands to deliver a comprehensive technical solution for intelligent transport management and integrated services in the logistics industry. The program aims to overcome key technical challenges, including automated loading/unloading and coordination control technology, thereby filling industry gaps and driving the establishment of pioneering standards.

This program marks a strategic move by CASCO into the smart logistics domain, signifying the official expansion of its intelligent control technologies from rail transit to the integrated transportation field. Moving forward, CASCO will continue to implement the strategy of building China into a country with strong transportation network, align with integrated transport development trends, and accelerate the extension of its core rail transit technologies into wider transportation sectors guided by market demand, to provide innovative technological support for building China’s modern integrated transportation system.
