Recently, the first batch of ID-Space systems in Fujian Province were successfully delivered and accepted in Nan'an, marking a new stage of intelligent and collaborative development of low-altitude economy in Nan’an. Undertaken by CASCO, the system has been deployed at three smart aviation flight bases—Jiudu, Meilin, and Shijing—covering a 360-square-kilometer airspace and injecting strong technological momentum into Nan'an's low-altitude economic growth.
CASCO’s ID-Space system
Leveraging its unique airspace advantages, Nan'an is actively expanding low-altitude application scenarios. The three smart aviation flight bases in Jiudu, Meilin, and Shijing are equipped with not only complete drone takeoff/landing and parking infrastructure but also CASCO's self-developed ID-Space system as the "technological core". Through seven functional modules—airspace management, access management, flight activities, flight operation control, report center, system management, and drone countermeasure—the system establishes a full-process, highly efficient intelligent management and control framework that integrates plan formulation, scheduling, real-time monitoring, control execution, and operation & maintenance support. This enables four-dimensional coordinated utilization of airspace resources.

Airspace Digitalization: Fine Management Ensures Flight Safety
Airspace digitalization, a key technology for refined airspace management, is fully self-developed by CASCO and has completed demonstration verification in Nan'an. It realizes precise identification and code management of airspace elements, establishes mapping relations between aircraft, buildings, meteorological data, electromagnetic information, and grid spaces. This significantly enhances automatic route planning and flight conflict alert/resolution, thereby improving airspace utilization efficiency and operation safety, and laying a safety foundation for Nan'an's low-altitude economic development.

Integrated Flight: Efficient Collaboration Across Diverse Scenarios
The technological highlight of ID-Space system lies in "integrated flight", which breaks airspace exclusivity restriction. It coordinates different operators, aircrafts, and flight service demands within the same time and airspace to maximize resource utilization. This innovative technology was fully validated during a flight demonstration at the Drone Application Scenarios Conference in Fujian Province in September 2024. During the demo, eVTOL aircraft for passenger sightseeing, multi-rotor drones for emergency rescue, multi-rotor drones for logistics, and vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing drones for reservoir inspections flew safely along different altitude corridors in the same airspace, even achieving vertical intersections—a first in the industry.

One-Click Direct Control: Intelligent Flight at Hand
Unlike traditional manual drone control, CASCO's ID-Space system enables one-click direct control. In the control room, operators can command multiple drones to fly autonomously along preset routes, hover, or conduct close-range tracking with a single mouse click, while monitoring flight status in real time to ensure safety. This more intelligent and more efficient flight mode provides a solid technical foundation for supporting low-altitude dense flights and expanding application scenarios.
As Nan'an's low-altitude ID-Space system enters routine operation, CASCO will continue to deepen the research and innovation of intelligent control technologies, optimize system performance, and accelerate the implementation of more low-altitude operation scenarios. This will help Nan'an build a low-altitude economic model county where "one can soar in the sky and traverse rivers and seas”.
