On November 16^th 2016, the Science and Technology Award of China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association was unveiled in Chongqing. The full-electronic computer-based interlocking system iLOCK-E independently developed by CASCO was honored the third prize.

The Science and Technology Award of China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association is set up to promote industry technical innovation and award the persons and organizations who have made great contribution to intelligent transportation, technical innovation, achievement promotion and application, hi-tech industrialization, social technology popularization and social public welfare. 

iLOCK-E based on CASCO’s existing self-independent iLOCK computer interlocking system, integrates computer interlocking system of new generation. It is featured with high safety, small volume, powerful functions, strong networking capability, sound maintainability and low investment cost.

Since its successful application in domestic railways and stations in 2014, iLOCK-E took lead in going abroad in 2015 by being applied in THANALENG station in Laos railway, becoming the first exported full-electronic computer interlocking system 

Intelligent transportation is the development trend of modern transportation system as well as an important part of national strategic emerging industry. The award fully demonstrates the benchmark status of CASCO’s iLOCK-E system in rail transit signaling control field. CASCO will continue to explore and push forward the transition and upgrade of intelligent transport system.
