Recently the National Quality Engineering Awards Recognition Conference was held in Beijing, during which CASCO's Wuhan Airport Line Project won the 2018-2019 National Quality Engineering Award, another history win for CASCO.

The National Quality Engineering Award was established in 1981 to promote and recognize engineering projects with excellent design, fine quality, sound management, good benefits, advanced technology, energy conservation and environment protection. It is a cross-industry national quality award with longest history and highest level confirmed by the State Council.

Wuhan Airport Line is the north extension of Line 2, with a total length of 19.767 kilometers and 7 stations. It starts from Tianhe Airport in Hankou in the north, passes Wuhan Airline Headquarter, Jiahai Industrial Park, Panlong Avenue, Hongtu Avenue to Jinyintan station of Line 2 (Phase I). It is Wuhan's first metro line to the airport, marking a new era of seamless connection between metro and aviation.

CASCO has provided industry-leading Urbalis 888 signaling system solution for the airport line, which is highly compatible, safe, and efficient. It has not only withstood large passenger flow during the Olympics, the World Expo and the China International Import Expo, but also covered more than 60 lines in 24 cities worldwide, ranking the first in the industry. In addition, CASCO applied standardized cabinets and wiring craft. In the spirit of craftsmanship, CASCO has completed a project of high quality, making it stand out from many competing projects.

The award not only highly recognizes CASCO's product and engineering quality but also will motivate CASCO to continue to uphold the spirit of “pursuit excellence and build classics”, and deliver more excellent projects with better systems, higher standards, and higher quality, thus facilitating the industry development and safeguarding public transportation.
