On February 17, CASCO's 2023 Clean Party Conduct and Anti-corruption Work Meeting was held in Shanghai. Wang Yin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman and President of the Company, attended the meeting and made a speech, and Zhuang Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of the Company, made a work report. The meeting conveyed the spirit of CRSC's Clean Party Conduct and Anti-corruption Work Meeting, and emphasized that we should take the opportunity of establishing the Formal Party Committee to ensure the Company's sustainable and high-quality development by comprehensively and strictly governing the Party, contribute more power, play a greater role, and achieve better growth in the journey of Chinese-style modernization.

Wang Yin stressed that we must persist in using precise and powerful political supervision to ensure that key tasks are implemented effectively, highlight the leading role of political ideology, strengthen the understanding of "two establishes", and promote the implementation of “the top priorities of the country”. We must persistently improve the system of comprehensive and strict Party governance by using the ideas and methods of deepening reform, strengthen compliance management, optimize process control and improve supervision system. We must persevere in creating a new and upright atmosphere for working and enterprising by taking comprehensive measures of rectification and establishment, strengthen promotion and guidance, increasing rectification efforts, and enhancing self-discipline. We must persist in improving the comprehensive efficiency of the "three non-corruptions" with the systematic thinking of integrated promotion, strengthening system construction and ideological education, and identifying problems early and correcting them while they are nascent. We must persevere in building a high-quality management team that is capable of taking up important responsibilities, strengthening political construction, enhancing capacity building, and promoting excellent conduct.

On behalf of the Company's Disciplinary Inspection Committee, Zhuang Hong made a work report, summarizing the clean Party conduct and anti-corruption work in 2022, and arranging key tasks for 2023. He emphasized that we should strengthen political supervision and resolutely guarantee the implementation of decisions and deployments; fully identify the division of responsibilities and strengthen the supervision and control of the exercise of power; deepen the rectification of the "Four Malfeasances" and continue to consolidate the “dam” formed by the central Party leadership’s eight-point decision on improving work conduct; strengthen discipline construction and resolutely maintain the seriousness and authority of Party rules and discipline; adhere to the integrated promotion of the "three non-corruptions" and resolutely win the protracted battle against corruption; and solidify self-construction and build a loyal, clean and responsible discipline inspection team.
