On April 22, Zhong Xiaoyong, Secretary of the Jing'an District Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), conducted a research tour of technology enterprises in Jing'an District, and visited CASCO to gain an in-depth understanding of the company's development status and further promote policy alignment and service support. Deputy District Governor Hu Yong participated in the research.
Zhong Xiaoyong and his delegation visited CASCO's Shanghai Engineering Research Center of Railway Intelligent Dispatching Command System, observed live demonstrations of rail transit dispatching and command system, low-altitude intelligent management and control service platform, and other applications.
During a subsequent symposium, Zhong Xiaoyong listened to reports from Wang Yin, Party Secretary and Chairman of CASCO, covering the company's operational performance, digital transformation, and technological innovation. He emphasized that promoting new quality productive forces through technological innovation and building a modern industrial system are strategic initiatives crucial for overall economic development. He hoped that CASCO would serve as a benchmark enterprise for technological innovation-driven industrial transformation and upgrading in Jing'an District.
In response to the company's requests for support in technological R&D, application implementation, and ecosystem construction, Zhong Xiaoyong coordinated relevant departments to address these needs on-site. He stated that facing a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, Jing'an must fully leverage its role as an innovation hub to inject strong momentum into high-quality regional and industrial development.
Regarding the next phase of growth for technology enterprises in the district, Zhong Xiaoyong highlighted several key points. First, stabilizing growth is a current priority. Jing'an will assist enterprises in overcoming difficulties, enhance their risk resilience, stabilize market expectations, and bolster confidence among domestic and foreign partners to ensure steady progress. Second, technological innovation is the core driving force for development. As a leader in China's rail transit signaling sector, CASCO is honored as a "National Enterprise Technology Center," "National Demonstration Enterprise for Single-Item Championship in Manufacturing," and one of China's first "Service-Oriented Manufacturing Demonstration Enterprises." This year, it was awarded the title of "Shanghai's Second Batch of Innovative Enterprise Headquarters". In recent years, CASCO has been promoting the integration of advanced technologies like big data, AI, and IoT with rail transit, while proactively entering the low-altitude economy sector. "Shanghai Shibei Low-Altitude Flight Demonstration Zone" that CASCO built with Shanghai Shibei High-Tech Park has been approved as a municipal-level project. Looking ahead, CASCO will take root in Jing'an, serve the nation, and go global. Leveraging more innovative achievements, CASCO will empower the development of smart transportation, and contribute even greater strength to building China into a global transportation powerhouse and driving high-quality development of regional economies.
