From February 16 to 18, CASCO's 2023 Annual Work Meeting and Strategy Decoding Meeting was held in Shanghai, with the theme of "persisting in pursuing dreams and continuing the struggle". Wang Yin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman and President of CASCO, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, while members of the Party Committee, members of the President's Office and relevant leaders of business segments attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Wang Yin conveyed the important speech of Zhou Zhiliang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CRSC at the 2023 Annual Work Meeting and the Second Session of the Second Staff Council of CRSC and the spirit of the work report of Xu Zongxiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, and required the management of the company to study, communicate, implement and carry out the spirit of the meeting, resolutely complete the goals of "one profit and five rates", "one increase, one stability, four enhancements" and other objectives, and strive to promote the sustainable and high-quality development of the Company.
At the meeting, all departments of the Company reported comprehensively and thoroughly on their annual work in finance, market, product management, R&D, operation, customer service, safety, quality testing, compliance risk control, administration & HR, digitalization, etc., summed up the experience, analyzed problems, depicted future work plans, and sought common development.
In his concluding speech, Wang Yin said that the achievements of the past year were hard-won and exciting. He thanked their relentless efforts made by all colleagues for, the solid foundation laid by generations of CASCO people, the good environment created by both shareholders, and the care and support provided by clients and the community. He proposed the request that we must resolutely achieve high-quality and stable growth, maintain vitality, and promote sustainable high-quality development with tangible performance; we must persist in promoting technological innovation, enhance our hard power, and truly lead the market with technological advantage and have a forward-looking vision; we must adhere to the integration of development and safety, enhance security capabilities, and practice the concept of "comprehensive guardianship and full-course assurance"; we must continue to deepen reforms, stimulate our combat power, and create a pragmatic and efficient operating mechanism; and we must strengthen the Party's leadership, enhance cohesion, and guarantee high-quality development with high-quality Party building. He emphasized that the journey is long and struggling cannot stop. We should pursue the goal of building a world class enterprise with global competitiveness in the field of rail transit signaling systems, and the dream of maintaining our advantages and establishing a long-lasting business forever, always keep the mentality of a challenger, keep the spirit of a doer, continue to struggle, and work together to explore the maximum potential of ourselves.
At the strategy decoding meeting, based on the foundation laid by the Strategy Discussing Meeting, Strategy Clarification Meeting and Pre-session Alignment Meeting held earlier, the participants, through thorough discussion and collective wisdom, determined the Company's nine "must-win battles" and the corresponding "commanders" in 2023, proposed measurable indicators and action plans, negotiated and signed the personal performance contracts for the "commanders" and executives on the site, reached a strategic consensus, clarified the objectives and tasks, and pointed out the direction of future efforts.
In his speech, Wang Yin pointed out that those who share the same desire will win, and those who help each other will triumph. CASCO has an excellent team, excellent culture, and excellent management practices, which are the foundation and conditions for CASCO to achieve further development from a new starting point. He emphasized that in the face of higher goals, higher requirements, and difficulties and challenges on the way forward, we must always maintain the spirit and state of fearlessness with greater determination, confidence, and courage, and unite ourselves to achieve our common victory.
The three-day meeting ended successfully with a shower of applause. Gathering strength and embracing dreams, all CASCO people will continue to unite and work hard to ensure the realization of various goals in 2023, laying a solid foundation for CASCO's sustainable and high-quality development in the future.
