On October 25, the Urban Rail Transit Intelligent Dispatching Symposium was successfully held in Zhengzhou. Guided by Zhengzhou Metro Group, the conference was jointly hosted by Zhengzhou Rail Transit Operating Co., Ltd. and Henan High Dependable Intelligent Urban Rail Engineering Research Center, and co-hosted by CASCO Signal and Henan University. Experts and scholars from metros, design institutes, and universities gathered to share innovative achievements and wisdom in intelligent dispatching through technical discussions and site observations, seeking cooperation and development through exchanges and mutual learning. As China's urban rail transit transforms from scale growth to quality growth, digital technology innovation and green-intelligent integration have become trends. Among them, intelligent dispatching, as the core of this transformation, is of great significance for improving operation quality. During the symposium, experts and scholars expressed their views on this consensus and contributed many insightful opinions.
On the morning of the same day, Wang Zhuanjian, General Manager of Zhengzhou Rail Transit Operation Co., Ltd., and Sun Junfeng, Assistant to the President of CASCO, delivered speeches and announced the opening of the conference. Dou Liang, Deputy General Manager of Zhengzhou Rail Transit Operaton Co., Ltd., presided over the keynote speech session.
Through keynote speeches, Xu Shupeng, Deputy Director of the Technical Management Department of Zhengzhou Metro Group, Pan Weijian, General Manager of the Dispatching and Command Center of Shenzhen Metro Operation Group Co., Ltd., and Zhao Yuan, Chief Engineer of Shanghai Rail Transit Network Operation and Dispatching Command Center, presented multiple digital innovation achievements in the field of dispatching and command based on detailed cases. Professor Ni Shaoquan from Southwest Jiaotong University delivered a special report on the compilation and evaluation system for train operation diagrams in urban rail transit network, explaining it in an easy-to-understand manner. Zhang Yinan, CASCO’s Product Manager, introduced CASCO's newly launched intelligent operation control platform, which is based on the digital foundation of rail transit and leverages big data, AI, and other technologies to empower business process. It covers over 100 operation scenarios and provides services such as integrated dispatching, precise transportation, intelligent emergency response, intelligent collaboration, and intelligent travel, catering to the core needs of train operation command.
During the special discussion session, participants further engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as actual dispatching needs, planning and construction priorities at the network and line levels, challenges faced by high-density train operation organization, and corresponding solutions, ideas, or paths. These discussions provided new insights and ideas for the future development of intelligent dispatching.
In the afternoon, guests visited Henan High Dependable Intelligent Urban Rail Engineering Research Center, and learned about the function highlights and application cases of CASCO's intelligent operation control system and intelligent training system. They also observed relevant application scenario demonstrations on site. The conference concluded successfully in a lively atmosphere of exchanges.
CASCO's hosting of this conference provided a good learning and exchange platform for the industry to explore digital transformation.
