Recently, the list of winners for the 17th Zhan Tianyou Railway Science and Technology Award was announced. In this selection, only a hundred or so industry elites nationwide stood out, including two technical talents from CASCO – Wang Xiaoyong won the "Zhan Tianyou Achievement Award", and Wang Ruyue won the "Zhan Tianyou Youth Award". This honor not only acknowledges their individual abilities and contributions but also highlights CASCO's achievements in talent cultivation and technological innovation.
Wang Xiaoyong, Ph.D. in Engineering and Senior Engineer, is currently the General Manager of CASCO's Urban Rail Transit Product Center and Director of Shanghai Engineering Research Center of Driverless Train Control of Urban Guided Transport. He has long been engaged in research on the reliability, intelligence, and efficiency enhancement of rail transit systems, responsible for the research and application of the Urbalis888/TRANAVI system, TRANAVI Qiqi TACS, multi-mode train control, and Xihe digital urban rail transit solution. Currently, he leads one national-level project and three provincial and ministerial-level projects, and has participated in over ten various projects. His related achievements have won over 20 scientific and technological awards from Shanghai Municipality, Sichuan Province, National Railway Administration, China Electronics Society, China Industry-University-Research Institute Collaboration Association, China Urban Transit Association, and China Communications Association, among others. He holds over 100 patents and has published more than 40 academic papers and monographs in domestic and international journals, editing and co-editing more than 20 standards.
Wang Ruyue, Master of Engineering and Senior Engineer, is currently the Deputy Product Director in CASCO's Transport Dispatching Product Operation Department. He has long been engaged in the research and development of related systems such as railway integrated dispatching system and transportation informatization. He led the development of railway integrated dispatching system for regional railway network, providing a comprehensive transportation management solution integrating intelligent control, management, and decision-making for regional railways. He has won multiple provincial, ministerial, or industry-level scientific and technological awards, with 14 authorized invention patents, 8 software copyrights, and has participated in publishing 10 scientific papers and formulating multiple industry standards.
