On November 14, the 21st Annual Summit of World Rail Transit was held in Beijing. Focusing on the theme of "Pursuing Quality in Innovation and Building a Sustainable Future," the conference discussed topics such as new-quality productive forces, operation and maintenance safety, and multi-mode development opportunities. CASCO was invited to attend and shared its technical solution of integrated transport dispatching system in the context of "four-network integration."
During the conference, Wu Xiang, Deputy Chief Engineer of CASCO's Transport Dispatching Product Center, delivered a keynote speech titled "Research and Practice of Key Technologies of Integrated Transport Dispatching under 'Four-Network Integration'." Regarding the characteristics and differences between the existing dispatching systems of national railway CTC and urban rail ATS, Wu Xiang pointed out that the existing dispatching and command system can hardly meet the needs of public transit and networked operation simultaneously, highlighting the urgent need to build an integrated transport dispatching system that aligns with the characteristics of "four-network integration."
Taking suburban railway as an example, Wu Xiang further introduced the application scenario analysis of the integrated transport dispatching system and discussed several research topics, including research on the integrated platform for intelligent dispatching and automatic train operation, coordination technology for operation plans across multi-level rail transit network, and emergency collaborative dispatching in multi-level rail transit. These discussions fully demonstrated CASCO's cutting-edge research in the field of transport dispatching.
In addition, the World Rail Transit 2024 Industry Contribution Award and Technology Innovation Award ceremonies were held concurrently with the conference, and CASCO was honored with the Industry Contribution Award. This honor not only recognizes CASCO's technical prowess but also highly acknowledges its outstanding contributions to promoting high-quality development in the industry.
As "four-network integration" continues to advance in terms of infrastructure "hard connectivity" and rule standard "soft connectivity", CASCO will continue to deepen its research on integrated transport dispatching system and related topics. Through digital empowerment, CASCO aims to drive innovations in transport dispatching rules and technologies, contributing to dual enhancements in transport safety and efficiency.
