At the beginning of the new year, the 2024 Annual Summary Conference of the 10th of Ramadan Railway Maintenance Company in Egypt was held grandly in Cairo. Guests such as Tarek Hamed Gewaily, Chairman of the National Authority for Tunnels, and Han Bao, General Manager of AVIC International Egypt Branch, attended the event. CASCO, as an important Chinese participant in the project, was invited to attend the conference and was honored with the "Team of the Year 2024” for its outstanding signal maintenance services. At the conference, Mr. Tarek Hamed Gewaily personally presented the award to CASCO, and highly praised its outstanding contributions to the project operation.

The 10th of Ramadan Railway is the first CBTC line in Egypt. As a core participant in the project, CASCO adheres to the concept of full lifecycle service, and takes full responsibility for the construction, operation and maintenance of the signaling system. Since the opening of the first and second phases of the project, CASCO has relied on its professional and solid technical strength and high sense of responsibility to ensure the safe and stable operation of the signaling system. In 2024, CASCO achieved its annual KPI targets with an impressive performance of zero safety accidents, providing efficient and convenient travel services for Egyptian citizens.

Currently, CASCO is fully committed to advancing the construction of the southern extension line (Phase III) of the 10the of Ramadan Railway. It will work together with various partner units to strive to create another high-quality project along the "Belt and Road". At the same time, the company will also rely on its profound accumulation in technological innovation and project construction to actively expand the international market and contribute intelligent solutions to the global rail transit industry.
