Government-Enterprise Collaboration: CASCO and Huangpi District Jointly Launch New "Low-Altitude+" Track

On July 2, CASCO and the People’s Government of Huangpi District, Wuhan, officially signed a cooperation agreement. Leveraging Huangpi District’s resource advantages and CASCO’s technological strengths, the two parties will jointly build an innovative "low-altitude+" application system, injecting "aerial momentum" into the high-quality development of the regional economy. Key government and enterprise representatives attended the signing ceremony, including He Jianwen, Secretary of the Huangpi District Party Committee, Zhang Jin, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Governor, Wang Yin, Party Secretary and Chairman of CASCO, among others. Chen Cong, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Deputy District Governor, and Cheng Hao, Vice President of CASCO signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.



In his speech, Wang Yin reviewed CASCO’s collaboration history with Wuhan and expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from Wuhan and Huangpi district. He noted that since the opening of Wuhan Metro Line 2 in 2012, CASCO has participated in the construction of 9 metro lines, established a subsidiary and National Operation and Maintenance Center in Wuhan, and plans to build an integrated platform screen door laboratory in the future. This will create CASCO’s Central China Headquarter integrating O&M and innovation. In the emerging field of low-altitude economy, CASCO will fully leverage its core technological strengths and Huangpi District’s low-altitude resources, to advance the construction of ID-Space platform and deployment of UAV AI inspection system. It aims to establish a comprehensive "low-altitude+" application system covering rail transit, agriculture and forestry, water affairs, and government services, contributing to the high-quality development of low-altitude economy in Wuhan and Huangpi District.


He Jianwen stated in her speech that CASCO possesses distinct technical expertise and mature development experience in both rail transit and low-altitude economy sectors. In the future, Huangpi District will utilize CASCO’s technological advantages and the role of its national O&M center to deepen collaboration in rail transit and enhance the intelligence level of the local rail transit industry. The district will also provide robust policy support, resource coordination, and services to drive cooperation from rail transit to the low-altitude economy. She expressed anticipation that this partnership will accelerate the implementation of low-altitude application scenarios, attract clustering of upstream and downstream enterprises, and jointly foster a "low-altitude+" industrial ecosystem.


Key attendees included heads of relevant departments from Huangpi District, such as the District Party Committee Office, District Government Office, District Party Committee Propaganda Department, District Party Committee Policy Research Office, District Party Committee Supervision Office, District Economic and Science Technology Bureau, District Commerce Bureau, District Transportation Investment Group, Base Company, and Qianchuan Street. Representatives from CASCO’s Urban Rail Marketing Center, National Rail Marketing Center, Strategic Planning Department, and CASCO Wuhan Company also participated in the signing ceremony.
