The 16th China International Industry Fair was held in Shanghai New International Expo Centre from November 4 to 8 2014. Miao Wei, Minister of Industry and Information Technology and Shanghai Mayor Yang Xiong attended the opening ceremony and toured the pavilion. CASCO's exhibit iCMTC CBTC signaling system won the Silver Award.

China International Industry Fair, jointly organized by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Chinese Academy of Science, Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, is a leading event on equipment manufacturing in China and the only fair that is approved by the State Council to appraise awards. The authoritative awards enjoy high reputation in the industry and the winning products and companies will receive policy support from the country. The fair this time covers 16 pavilions with 8102 booths and 2101 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, making it the largest industry fair in Asia. The fair this year set 4 Gold Awards, 20 Silver Awards, 4 Industry Design Awards, 1 Gold Innovation Award, 2 Silver Innovation Awards and 9 Innovation Awards. CASCO’s iCMTC CBTC signaling system stood out and won the Silver Award with its advanced technology and good application value, making it the only honored product in the rail transit industry.

iCMTC is a communication-based train control (CBTC) system developed by CASCO with independent intellectual property rights and is made up of 5 subsystems iTC, iLOCk, iTS, iDCS and iMSS. As a moving block train control system, iCMTC enables train-ground communication by wireless and wave guide, and can be degraded to the backup dot mode when the system breaks down, thus realizing a mixed operation of CBTC and backup dot mode.
