In November 2020, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization released the 2020 Recommended Catalogue of Innovative Products of Shanghai. CASCO's Fully Automatic Operation System 2.0 for Smart Metro became one of the 80 selected products, for its leading independent innovation capacity, good economic benefits and market prospects. This is also the fourth product among CASCO's fully independent systems that were listed in this catalogue, following TRANAVI train operation control system, SmarTram intelligent control system and intelligent operation and maintenance system (IOM).

The Recommended Catalogue of Innovative Products of Shanghai was compiled by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization. It will strictly review and screen the candidate products together with Shanghai Municipal Development & Reform Commission, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Bureau of Industry and Commerce, Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau, Copyright Administration, Intellectual Property Administration and Medical Products Administration. It is required that the selected products fall into the key emerging industries in Shanghai, have the leading technological capacity, represent the development direction of advanced technology, and also have independent intellectual property rights. After the products are listed, they will enjoy priority in government procurement and funded projects, and benefit from favorable support in the nomination of high-tech enterprises, promotion of scientific and technological achievements transformation and related industrialization policies.

The Fully Automatic Operation System 2.0 for Smart Metro is the future-oriented system that expands into more dimensions at a higher level, based on GoA4, which will realize all-round intelligent control over urban rail transit through the whole process. The research and implementation of this system made a series of technical breakthroughs in the industry, constructed a complete technical system of health management on train control in the whole life cycle, and delivered many technical achievements such as standards, patents and software. It will contribute to building advanced rail transit and high-end equipment manufacturing brands, and leading the new direction of smart urban rail development.
