The 2020 17th Annual Meeting of World Railway Development and Research Society, 2020 Rail Transit Equipment and Safety Forum and the 10th China Railway Electrification Technology and Equipment Exchange Conference were held simultaneously in Beijing on December 4. CASCO was invited to the meetings, in which it shared its insight in the development trends of rail transit industry and discussed cooperation, experience and innovations with many experts and distinguished guests from the industry.
The Annual Meeting
With the theme of "Development, Safety and Wisdom", the meeting focused on "how to develop urban rail transit and railway in the future, how to ensure safety of equipment technology and how to show wisdom of power supply technology", covering industry development reports, high-level dialogues, safety forum, electrification conference, etc. In the Rail Transit Equipment and Safety Forum, Jiang Jianhua, Technical VP of CASCO, delivered a keynote speech on "Research and Innovation of Train Control Technology in Urban Rail Transit".

In his speech, Jiang Jianhua introduced CASCO's technological innovations on intelligent control, efficiency improvement and merge of standards of train control system. Among them, CASCO launched Fully Automatic Operation System 2.0 for Smart Metro in 2019, and proposed a five-in-one intelligent rail transit solution including driverless train, intelligent dispatching, intelligent station, intelligent yard and intelligent operation and maintenance. In November 2020, CASCO officially launched TRANAVI Qiji, a self-developed train autonomous circumambulation system. Compared with the traditional CBTC system, it can achieve shorter train operation intervals, higher transportation capacity and greater flexibility. In addition, he also introduced the application case of CASCO's "Dual System" tailored for Shanghai Metro Line 2, and shared his expectation of future development trend of train control system, which would be more intelligent, more efficient and multi-network integrated.

In recent years, the development of China's urban rail transit industry is booming, with the scale of operation, passenger traffic, length of lines under construction and length of planned lines hitting record highs.
